At the beginning I was thinking that I could kill effectively and efficiently by the Keris (keris is a kind like a cold steel made in Javanese), especially when the keris fortuned by the power of magic, just like Empu Gandring (one of the famous master from java in the 1875) or Nagasasra keris (the famous keris from central of java).
Some people are defining that the Prince of Diponegoro riding a horse and carried out the keris on his waist.
Now even the keris collectors declined that the keris is far away from the harshness, the keris was a symbol of the inner beauty the owner and glory, harmony, equilibrium. So keris is the icon of the beauty and glory. Then don’t ever think of that keris was a tool for killing each other.
Keris is a our heirloom, that why when I watch some histrionic of the “Art and Peace” in the Art centre Denpasar that I saw the keris was showing as a killing tools in the dramatically ways, I was so surprised.
The question was, whose responsible for the act, that keris was at the beginning used as an effective killing tool, there already been an icon for a beauty and arts.
